Kaley Cuoco stars as Penny, a waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall from two physicists and becomes closely connected to their group of friends on "The Big Bang Theory."
Before joining "The Big Bang Theory," Cuoco builds her career through television and film roles at a young age. She gains recognition for her role as Bridget Hennessy on "8 Simple Rules," where she appears as one of the central family members and develops experience in a multi-camera sitcom format.
Cuoco also appears in television projects including "Charmed," where she portrays Billie Jenkins, along with guest roles on other series and parts in television movies. These roles provide her with experience across both comedy and drama prior to her long-running role on the series.
In addition to television, Cuoco appears in feature films and independent projects, working with a variety of directors and production teams. Her early film work contributes to her experience in on-camera performance and character-driven storytelling before joining the ensemble cast.
Outside of acting, Cuoco is involved in equestrian sports and has participated in competitive horseback riding for many years. She continues to pursue work in television and film while maintaining her involvement in training and caring for horses.
