Before joining "The Big Bang Theory," Parsons builds his acting career through theater and television, appearing in stage productions and taking on guest roles in series such as "Judging Amy" and "Ed." He studies acting at the University of Houston and later earns a graduate degree from the University of San Diego, developing a strong foundation in performance.

Parsons also appears in film and television projects prior to and during the early years of the series, working in both independent productions and supporting roles. These experiences provide him with exposure to different directors, production styles, and ensemble environments.

In addition to his on-screen work, Parsons participates in theater productions, including Broadway performances such as "The Normal Heart," expanding his experience across stage and screen. He also takes on voice roles and narration work in various projects.

Outside of acting, Parsons is involved in producing and creative development for television and film projects, continuing to build his career behind the camera while maintaining his work as an actor.
