Before joining "Riverdale," Cott works extensively in theater, including regional productions and performances in school and community plays. He studies acting formally, participating in programs that provide training in both dramatic and musical material. He also takes part in summer workshops and conservatory programs, gaining practical stage experience and learning a range of acting techniques.

Cott appears in short films, independent projects, and university productions prior to "Riverdale," giving him exposure to different directors, production styles, and ensemble casts. He participates in both contemporary and classical material, which helps him build a broad understanding of character work and production processes. These experiences allow him to develop a strong foundation in on-camera and live performance work.

Outside of acting, Cott is involved in sports, including basketball and running, and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking. He continues to participate in theater and performance-related projects, and he also engages in educational and community programs related to the performing arts.
